A Direct Indian Coffee Exporter for European Roasters & Importers
LIT COFFEE (Leelaprasad International Pvt Ltd) is a Karnataka-based green coffee exporter supplying Arabica and Robusta to importers, roasters, and distributors across Europe. We source directly from estates in Coorg, Chikkamagaluru, Wayanad, and the Bababudan Giris — regions producing some of the world's most prized shade-grown coffees.
European buyers choose us for traceability, consistent quality grading, and a full documentation package covering EU food safety, phytosanitary, and EUDR compliance requirements — without the complexity of intermediary trading houses.
We ship FOB from Chennai, Cochin, Mangalore, and Mumbai, and offer CIF terms directly to your preferred European port.

Why European Roasters Source from India

Shade-grown, traceable origin
Indian coffee is grown under a canopy of forest trees — not in cleared monoculture plantations. This makes EUDR compliance straightforward and the origin story compelling for specialty retail.

Unique flavour profiles
GI-tagged origins like Mysore Nuggets Extra Bold and Monsoon Malabar offer European roasters something they cannot source from Brazil or Colombia — distinctive processing and terroir-driven cup profiles.

Price-competitive Robusta
Indian Robusta from Karnataka competes on quality and price with Vietnamese Robusta — with the advantage of lower OTA (ochratoxin A) risk and stronger estate traceability for EU food safety compliance.
